Key features:

- Hybrid of a really good drum smoker & a whole hog cooker
- Ideal grate temperature range: 135-145°C
- No insulation, very simple construction
- Works with lump wood charcoal or coconut shell briquettes
Advantages:
- Typical hot & fast. It’s in between low & slow BBQ and roasted meat
- Ideal for short timing: it almost halves the necessary time
- On 140-145°C: Brisket = 5-5 hours, Boston butt: 6 hours, Pork ribs: 3-3 hours
